THE SUMMER REVIVAL
Woody Guthrie's American Song returns to the Axiom stage for a limited time, running June 10th - July 4th, 2022. Based on Woody Guthrie's own writings, American Song sees a wonderful ensemble of actors through the Dust Bowl, the Great Depression, World War II, and even into our own Redding, CA, telling the stories both of Woody's life, and of America as a whole. Songs like Hard Travelin', Bound for Glory, and of course This Land is Your Land beautifully weave through scenes that resonate just as much today as they did when they were written. The show also features live music from some of the North State's most talented instrumentalists. With only 8 performances, this is one you don't want to wait to get tickets for.
